【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardspecifiestolerancesandlimitsforsimpleformsoflimitgauges,suchascylindricalplainplug,ringandgapgauges,forwhichgaugelimitshavenotbeenstipulated.Itspecifiesgaugetolerancesforworkpiecetolerancesintherangebetween0.009mmand3.200mmandhowgaugelimitsarerelatedtotheworkpiecelimits.Italsospecifiestypesofgaugeaccordingtosizeandminimumworkpiecetolerance.NOTEWhereaworkpiecetoleranceisoutsidetherange0.009mmto3.200mm,orifitisnotpossibletoconformtoTable2regardingtypeofgauge,gaugetoleranceandworkpiecesize,directmeasurementshouldbeused.Thegaugetolerancesspecifiedaresuchthatthesizeofanyworkpieceacceptedbyagaugelieswithintheboundariesconstitutedbytheworkpiecelimits.Furthermore,themagnitudeofthegaugetolerancesisconsequentupontheamountoftheworkpiecetoleranceonly.AwearallowanceisprovidedonallGOgauges,i.e.thosethatcontrolthemaximummaterialconditionoftheworkpiece.
