【摘要】:Thistechnicalreportprovidesguidelinesindicatingtheitemsthatshouldbetakenintoaccountwhenplanningtoconnecta)differentimplementationsofsingle-modefibresofthesametype,e.g.differentimplementationsoftypeBsingle-modefibres,andb)single-modefibresofdifferenttypes,e.g.B1.1withB4.SeeIEC60793-2-50fortheattributesanddefinitionsofsingle-modefibres,summarisedinTable1below.Agiventypeofsingle-modefibre,forexampleB4,mayhavedifferentimplementationsbysuitablyoptimisingseveralofthefollowingparameters:modefielddiameter(henceeffectivearea),chromaticdispersioncoefficient,slopeofthechromaticdispersioncurveandcablecut-offwavelength.Thistechnicalreportdoesnotconsidertheconnectionoffibreswiththesameimplementationfromdifferentmanufacturers,whichisalreadyconsideredbythestandardisationprocedure.
