【摘要】:1.1Thispracticecoversnon-abrasivesurfacecleaningofarchitecturalsandstonetoremovegrease,dirt,loosematerial,andsurfacedepositssuchassoot,flyash,hydrocarbonresidues,andalgaeandotherbiologicalgrowthinpreparationfortheapplicationofwaterrepellentcoatings.Proceduresincludebroomcleaning,vacuumcleaning,airblastcleaning,watercleaning(anddetergentwatercleaning),andchemicalcleaning.1.2Limitations-Thispracticeisintendedtocleanarchitecturalsandstonewithoutdamagingitoralteringthesurfaceprofile.Theseproceduresarenotintendedforinteriorstonework.Whereworkonsurfacesofartistic,architectural,cultural,orhistoricsignificanceisbeingconsidered,guidancefromspecialistsshouldbesought.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,seeSection4.
