【摘要】:ThispartofISO1942definestermsusedindentistry,par-ticularlythoserelatingtodentalmaterials.Generalandclinicalterms,andtermsconcerningdentalinstrumentsandequip-ment,andthosetermsassociatedwiththetestingofsuchpro-ductsareincorporatedinthefourotherpartsofthisInter-nationalStandard.EquivalenttermsanddefinitionsaregiveninbothEnglishandFrench.ThisInternationalStandardisintendedtoprovideaccepteddefinitionsforanumberoftermsusedindentistrythatcouldproveusefulforthecomprehensionofdocumentsaimingatthepreparationandimplementationofStandards,andtoimprovecommunication,throughclosecooperationwiththeFederationdentaireinternationale,theWorldHealthOrganizationandothernationalorinternationalinterestedorganizations.
